Gloucester Road Playgroup’s success in national grant programme

O2 have named the Playgroup as one of their national community ‘champions’ and have awarded us a grant of £500 to fund a project entitled ‘My World’.

The money will be used to buy digital cameras. The children will then take photographs to portray the positive aspects of living in their neighbourhood and an exhibition of their work will be mounted in local public spaces.

There will be a special award lunch at the Playgroup on Friday 20th March 2009, 13.00 – 14.00 where we will be celebrating by sharing ‘national dishes’. For more information, please email us at gloucester_road_playgroup@btinternet.com
